A draft National Waste Strategy has been released by Federal Environment Minister Peter Garrett; recyclers and environmentalists have collaborated to launch the National Recycling Initiative; the Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme will have significant impacts on the waste industry; e-waste and other products are under scrutiny for take-back schemes...
